---------------------------------------------- Crowded House, un grupo genial y esta es una de las canciones que me gusta mucho. Entre dos siempre se puede formar un universo privado, un refugio de amor, una cabaña en el árbol a salvo de las tormentas de la vida cotidiana. En este concierto en vivo se les va la pinza un poco con el final, que ya era así pero lo rizan un poco, jejeje
De vez en cuando posteo algo más nuevo en este blog, que no me gusta quedarme anclada en el pasado, ni que sea musicalmente. "The Fray" es un grupo que ni conocía, pero al que se le ha dado bastante publicidad ya que esta música se incluye dentro de la banda sonora de la serie "Anatomía de Grey". Esta serie no la sigo porque no me interesa, la veo un culebrón..Para series de médicos prefiero "House". The Fray ha hecho una segunda versión del vídeo pero no la pongo. También es bastante culebraico el vídeo, con gente llorando por la pérdida de un ser querido, etc Estaba pensando en gente que hace poco ha perdido un hijo, un hermano, etc y en fin..¿Cómo salvar una vida? Es la pregunta del millón.
Esta canción también está versionada por distinta gente. La versión que más me gusta es la de Jackie Wilson. La del disco, que podéis escuchar arriba. Y aquí abajo...una actuación en video que he sacado del youtube. Es descojonante :_) juasss Este tío estaba loco. Solo ver las caritas que pone en el video y como se tira al suelo me parto. Quizás actuara con el puntillo o drogado, porque va acelerado xDD Comparad la canción de arriba y la actuación. ¿De qué iba puesto este hombre? Se dice que Elvis era fan de Wilson.
Aprovecho para poner un dúo con Sam Cooke, ya que estamos. (Está un poco ralladita la cinta en una zona pero así la han posteado).

La han cantado y versionado muchos cantantes y grupos. Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke...Mi versión preferida no me ha sido posible encontrarla. No era lenta, sino que tenía ritmillo y estaba cantada por un grupo de do woop, de forma muy alegre. Como no he encontrado por ahi nada similar, he elegido una versión más modernilla de Rod Steward. Es una buena melodía y letra para dedicar a la persona que amas. -----------------------------------------
EDICIÓN!!!!! Como tengo mala memoria estaba pensando que quizás la canción alegre que recordaba era la de "Heart and soul" que tengo en una cinta de cassette justo después de la de "sentimental reasons" de The Cleftones. Después de todo creo que la de The Cleftones es la que yo recordaba y mi cerebro le aceleró el ritmo porque a veces los recuerdos se confunden, al menos mi cerebro está hecho puré en lo que a memoria se refiere. (Esta vez voy más atrás en la máquina del tiempo, porque me encantan los 50) De este grupo me cansé enseguida de escuchar "Sweet talking guy" o "He's so fine", exitos suyos, pero de ésta de momento no me he cansado. Y la traducción no la pongo, que soy vaga.
Que Phil Collins me perdone pero...desde que escuché la canción cantada por las Supremes...me quedo con estas chicas. La primera vez que la escuché fue cantada por él y no sabía que fuese una versión, hasta que alguien me comentó acerca de ésta otra. Tiene un ritmo que pone de buen humor y la letra siempre me ha gustado.

----------------------------------------------------------- Creo que todo consiste en esperar, porque todo llega en esta vida y siempre hay que encarar todo con optimismo. Esta canción lo es.
Hace más de un año crearon este documental, "Antes de que la música muera", en el cual se ve como la industria discográfica crea estrellas del pop de la nada. Sin cantar bien, incluso desafinando, ellos corrigen con software cualquier eventualidad. Solo necesitan una carita mona y todo lo demás es marketing. Está en inglés, pero aunque no se sepa el idioma, no hay más que fijarse en las imágenes para entender lo que sucede. Escuchar cantar a la chica antes y después. Normalmente la canción la compone un compositor maduro y la canta una jovencita recién salida del huevo pero con mucha curva. Me hace pensar en cuántas "artistas" de hoy en día son prefabricadas. A mí se me ocurren unas cuantas pero no voy a dar nombres.
Esta era mi preferida de Connie Francis, con esa voz tan melosa y delicada pero que se te mete en el oído sin poderlo evitar y te engancha. Una cantante con un estilo inconfundible. Dejaré otras dos de las canciones que me gustan, aunque también me gustaban las moviditas, especialmente "Stupid Cupid". Esta época musicalmente me encanta.
Ahora sí estoy cerrando blogs a saco pues creo que me voy antes de lo que esperaba. Supongo que me iré a la Big City de Madrid (y digo supongo porque me toca pillar billete para...¡Este fin de semana! jajaja :_) Y luego a Tenerife. (Umm, si mi churri lee ésto flipará, sabe que me voy con E y cuando pero...no sabe a dónde)
Las islas siempre me han fascinado, son la evasión pura, cielo azul, agua cristalina, poder perder los ojos en el horizonte, broncearse, tomar zumos frescos...Son como mi símbolo de la felicidad, el placer, el relax.. Puede que sea un topicazo pero en general todas las islas me cautivan. Rodeadas por mar completamente y aisladas del resto de tierras. Todo lo que sea una isla me gusta, aunque no sea la típica isla caribeña...ya sea Manhattan como Formentera, Inglaterra o Fidgi todo peñasco atrapado por el mar me cautiva y espero poder ver muchas islas antes de morir. Es mi primera visita a esta nueva isla y mi primera visita a las Canarias. Estoy muy ilusionada.
Ahora sí, no doy más la vara y os dejo con una canción que me encanta y que refleja un poco mi sentimiento. Primero pongo la canción original para que la escuchéis, amenizado con un montaje en vídeo que ha hecho alguien sobre las islas Sheyshelles. Así me imagino yo el viaje perfecto, en plena naturaleza de la mano de la persona amada. Después os pondré una actuación en directo del grupo Weezer con la misma canción.

Esta canción me transporta a un recuerdo personal. Cuando era pequeña pasé de escuchar música de grupos infantiles a música adulta. En esa transición, Sir Duke fue la primera canción adulta que recuerdo haber escuchado en una vieja cinta de casette que encontré y me ponía muy alegre y contenta. Me hacía saltar sobre la cama y bailar :_) Siempre que la escucho, aún hoy en día, me pone de muy buen humor. Cuando aprendí algo de inglés y la entendí, aún me pareció mejor, pues habla de la música y de gente como Duke Ellington y Ella Fidzgerald...Es una canción genial que quería compartir hoy.

A otra cosa mariposa...No siempre se vive de romanticismo. También tengo mi lado salvaje. Dejaré aquí un vídeo de mi animé preferido, Berserk, amenizado con "unforgiven" de Metallica. Es extraño que me guste Berserk, un manga pasado a animé que en sí es tremendamente violento y sangriento. Odio la violencia y no me gustan las películas de guerra. ¿Qué sucede con Berserk? Es una historia que encierra unos personajes psicológicamente interesantes. Gatsu, el guerrero berserker protagonista, es un hombre cuyo sentido de la vida es la venganza del hombre que le traicionó, el único amigo que realmente tuvo, que le destrozó su futuro y violó a la mujer que amaba. El rencor es lo que le da energía. Podría haber sido el amor, pero entonces no hubiera habido historia xD El traidor de la historia es un ser cuyo sentido de la vida es el poder y la ambición (tremendamete realista xD) y que no dudará en sacrificar a los suyos con tal de superar la muerte y vivir una vida eterna, aunque sea como ente en las tinieblas. Ummm, una historia que dista mucho de ser preciosa, pero es lo que hay. A mí me enganchó, pero ahora mismo la edición española ha alcanzado el ritmo de la edición japonesa. Habrá que esperar a la continuación. Me gustó el conjunto de música e imágenes. Para quien conoce la historia, es un buen montaje.
Cuando alguien está enamorado se siente morir si le falta esa persona, o sufre solo por la posibilidad del fin de esa relación. una mala experiencia. Es muy jodido y sé que siempre se sobrevive cuando se pone fin a una historia sentimental, pero se sale muy machacado de la experiencia. Por eso mismo hay letras de canciones que han exagerado ese sentimiento y lo han plasmado de forma extrema, desgarradora y apasionadamente.
He querido elegir hoy las que para mi expresan el amor como el TODO y su ausencia como el fin de todo, el apocalipsis del alma, la NADA.
No se puede vivir con ese temor, hay que seguir siempre adelante. El top ten de canciones de este tipo según mi gusto:

Recomiendo que las escuchéis porque son preciosas, también sus melodías, pero no las escuchéis si estáis de bajón sentimental. Ya iré colgando todas las letras y sí, traduciré las que haya que traducir, sólo que ahora no tengo tiempo.
