Me gusta esta canción y ya no me acordaba de ella hasta que la he vuelto a escuchar en la banda sonora de Clerks II. Entonces he dicho: Ahhh!!! qué buena canción.

Nunca había visto el vídeo musical.Una vez más, gracias a youtube puedo verlo. En el vídeo se ve un grupo de jóvenes pasándolo en grande, en fiestas y cuando ya están hartos de bebida y droga (se presupone) se van a hacer el gamberro a un supermercado.
Lo peor es que me hacer recordar el breve tiempo en que me junté con una peña así de loca en mis tiempos mozos. Recuerdo uno super puesto de drogas que decía que le encantaban los Smashing Pumkins y nos estuvo taladrando con su disco Mellon Collie and the infinite sadness. Al día siguiente negó que le gustaran.

Me parece inaudito ese cambio de personalidad de estar drogado a estar limpio. Creía que a una persona le gustarían las mismas cosas y que su esencia no cambiaría. Pero a veces sucede con la cocaína y el speed. Cuando uno/a va puesto hay cosas que le parecen maravillosas, pero son realzadas por el efecto de las drogas. En ese momento ves arte divino dónde durante el día sin colocación sólo ves algo normal.

Este grupo musical siempre me recuerda a las fiestas dónde todo el mundo menos yo iba tripado y puesto de todo y yo les observaba sociológicamente. Era interesantísimo pero me acabé hartando de sus gamberradas. Cuando me enteré que habían arrancado el techo de un refugio de montaña para hacer fuego me dije que no era la gente con la que quería compartir mis ratos de ocio...Qué animales. No duré mucho con ellos, pero gracias a ellos conozco este grupo de música. Lo bueno que tenían es que eran muy melómanos y todos escuchaban buena música.
